Summary: Summarize the poem. What is the poem about? Connotation: List words from the poem that have strong connotative meaning. Define their meaning and explain what they help you understand as the reader. Attitude and Tone: What is the speaker’s attitude toward the subject of the poem? How do you know? What is the overall tone of the poem? How do you know? Theme: What is the reader supposed to learn by the end of the poem? What is the poem really about? SILENT READING Frankenstein | Character Analysis Instead of answering the following quotes directly, complete a Creative Hunt using chapters 1-3 in Frankenstein and find a quote that you think answers the quote for you. Write the quote in your accordion book. Be prepared to share out why you chose the quote and how it answers the analysis question associated with it. We will record these answers on our Parking Lot along.
