Please set the room up in pods. No more than four students in a pod. Please do not sit on the short end of the tables - two social geographers per table the long way. Silently read course overview.... Perspective is our individual understanding or interpretation of the world around us. It is our own particular attitude about the people we meet, the places we visit, the technologies we experience, the ideas we develop. While our perspective dictates how we see the world, the world also helps dictate our perspective. This class is devoted to studying various perspectives throughout time and place in order to better understand our own. See Think Wonder As a class of social geographers, we will complete a See Think Wonder on the ELMO to demonstrate a quality thinking routine. Then each pod will complete an additional See Think Wonder. This See Think Wonder will initially be conducted silently. When indicated to do so, please writing your sees, thoughts, and wonders down on the canvas. Each social geographer should have several sees, several various thoughts, and several different questions.
Different Perspectives After the group discussion, elect someone in your group to tape your canvas on the front whiteboard. Gallery Walk
